ASEAN PARA GAMES

The ASEAN Para Games was first organized in 2001 and is the largest sporting event organized by Asean countries for the disabled (OKU). The ASEAN Para Games are held after the end of the SEA Games in the same country, the country that hosts the SEA Games. The Games are organized in rotation between countries under the ASEAN Para Games Federation (APSF).
The organization of the 2020 ASEAN Para Games which was supposed to take place on 3 to 9 October 2020 was canceled due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Selepas tertangguh hampir 3 tahun, Persekutuan Sukan Para ASEAN (APSF) secara rasmi mengumumkan Solo, Indonesia sebagai tuan rumah temasya Sukan Para ASEAN (APG 2022).
Keinginan Indonesia untuk menjadi tuan rumah APG edisi ke 11 itu mendapat persetujuan daripada semua ahli selepas tuan rumah terdahulu Vietnam membatalkan membatalkan penganjuran temasya tersebut susulan penularan covid-19.
Kontinjen Malaysia yang dibarisi 70 atlet meraih 36 emas, 20 perak dan 14 gangsa untuk menduduki tangga keempat keseluruhan.
